New Winger for Cheltenham Town Ladies

30th July 2021

Former Cardiff City Women FC winger, Monet Legall is the latest player to join Cheltenham Town Ladies.

The University of South Wales student can play on either wing and has recently helped her university’s football team achieve promotion. She has also played for Cyncoed Ladies of the Welsh Premier Women’s Football League, Wales’ top flight of women’s football.

After spending pre-season with Cheltenham, Legall believed the Robins Ladies was the place for her.

“I was impressed with the training sessions and the aims for the upcoming season, which made me excited to sign,” she told Jon Palmer of Gloucestershire Live

“I am a dedicated, hard working player that has an aggressive play style.”

After returning to football following a couple of seasons hampered by the Covid19 pandemic, Legall is hoping her versatility will help her adjust to her new settings and allow her to become a regular contributor to the team’s season.

“I believe that I am good at adapting to new footballing environments and I am always looking to improve my game. I am also hoping to bag a few goals!”
