Fixture Rearrangements

24th December 2019

Cheltenham Town Ladies have three FA Women’s National League Divison 1 South-West matches from 2019 rearranged for after the new year.

First, the Robins Derby against Swindon Town Women, originally set to take place in October, will now take place on January 26th at The Big Local Stadium. This follows a combination of cup games taking priority over league games, and horrendous weather conditions reeking havoc with The Big Local Stadium’s pitch.

The final fixture to be rearranged is the club’s home tie with Chesham United Ladies. The fixture was originally tipped for October, however Cheltenham’s FA Cup clash with Leyton Orient took precedence. The fixture was then rescheduled for December 8th, however the Robinesses’ League Plate fixture with Chichester took precedence. The League Plate fixture eventually took place on December 15th, which incidentally caused the Exeter game to be postponed. Cheltenham Town Lades and Chesham United Women will now face each other on April 5th.

Also to be rescheduled is the Robinesses’ clash with Exeter City Women. Originally set to be a trip to Devon, a last minute change of plans at the Grecians’ end meant they weren’t able to host the game. After an agreement to switch the locations around, the fixture on December 15th was once again postponed due to CTLFC’s League Plate appearance. The Robinesses will now play host to Exeter on April 19th.

New dates for fixtures

  • January 26th Swindon Town (H)
  • April 5th Chesham United Ladies (H)
  • April 19th Exeter City Women (H)

Please be aware, fixtures may still be subject to change.
