Cheltenham Town Ladies FC Partner With University of Gloucestershire

12th January 2024

Cheltenham Town Ladies FC have been proud to offer vast experience to students at the University of Gloucestershire.

This includes Sports Journalism students, who have been working on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok, to make content, interviews, and provide live match updates.

So far this season, the media team have been up and down the country covering the Robinesses, with games at Billericay, Ipswich, and Plymouth to name a few, as well as home games at Kayte Lane in Bishops Cleeve.

Robinesses manager Tom Davies and current Communications manager Grace Gunn visited UOG at the start of the university year, and held a Q+A session with the new contingent of Sports Journalism students.

Also, this includes partnerships with Sports Therapy, data and performance analysis, and sports conditioning, so players and coaching staff can be at their optimum level on and off the pitch.

These students have also been at games to help the team along with recovery from injuries, and to help with nutrition so players can be at the top level of performance in games and during training.
