Cheltenham Town Ladies will be looking to get back to winning ways as they welcome MK Dons Women to Kayte Lane in the Women’s National League Southern Premier on Sunday (2:00PM Kickoff).

Tom Davies’ side will be looking for their first win in two weeks, as after their 3-2 triumph over London Bees, the Robinesses played out a 2-2 draw with Cardiff City before losing away at Plymouth Argyle last Sunday.

After fighting back twice, with goals from Phoebie Poole and captain Emily Owen cancelling out Ellie Sara’s brace, a 92nd minute penalty was dispatched to give Sara her a hat-trick and Argyle all three points.

The Dons have had a strong start to the season, winning twice and drawing once, however last weekend they were inflicted their first loss of the campaign, beaten 1-0 by Ipswich Town.

Cheltenham’s two meetings with the Dons last season, saw a defeat and a draw for the Robinesses. The former being a 2-1 defeat back at Stadium MK in August 2022, whilst the latter was a lively 2-2 draw back in February.

This current block of games starts a tough run against three of the current top division, for the Robinesses. After the visit of Charlie Bill’s team to Kayte Lane this weekend, Davies’ side face away trips to Ipswich Town and current league leaders Rugby Borough.

Tickets are £6 for adults, and £3 for concessions, and will be played at Kayte Lane (GL52 3PD). For more information regarding travel to the stadium, click here.

For supporters unable to attend, live-action updates will be provided on the Club’s X Account (formerly Twitter) as well as on Instagram.
