Cheltenham Town Ladies’ Development Team’s 2021/22 campaign in the South West Regional Women’s Football League will commence September 5, as the regional governing body releases their fixtures.
The Development Team, to be managed by Simon Galpin for 2021/22 following the departure of Matt Bedford who leaves for other opportunities in America, will return to the competitive stage for the first time in 2021, after the previous league campaign was a victim to the second national lockdown introduced in November which saw fixtures temporarily postponed, before eventually being cancelled completely along with the FA Women’s National League following the introduction of the third lockdown at the start of the new year.

Sunday November 7: Oldland Abbotonians (A)

While Cheltenham Town Ladies FC’s First Team have moved to the Corinium Stadium in Cirencester, its Development Team will remain in Cheltenham playing its fixtures at Petersfield Park, the home of Cheltenham Saracens FC.
