New Home for 2021/22

5th July 2021

Cheltenham Town Ladies will move away from Cheltenham Saracens for the 2021/22 season, heading towards the Cotswolds, after an agreement with Cirencester Town FC.

The Robinesses had been based at Cheltenham Saracens’ The Big Local Stadium for six seasons, following a move away from Newlands Park in Bishop’s Cleeve in 2015.

With fixture postponements and rearrangements plaguing the past couple of seasons fro the club, Manager Tom Davies was excited at the announcement, with Cirencester Town’s Corinium Stadium featuring an artificial 3G playing surface and Southern League standard facilities.

“It’s a fantastic facility which highlights our commitment to the players by providing them with the platform to achieve their targets this season,” he told Jon Palmer of GlosLive.

“It has a fantastic feel about it and I’m sure that everyone connected to the club will enjoy our new home. I’d like to thank Cheltenham Saracens and we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the development team moving forward,”

Cheltenham Town Ladies’ Development Team will continue to play their home fixtures at The Big Local Stadium.

Cheltenham Town and Cheltenham Town Ladies supporters can find directions to the Corinium Stadium here.
