Following advice from the FA and the Women’s National League, tomorrow has been postponed.
The 3rd hosting 5th fixture was set for a 2pm kick-off with a potential pitch inspection in the morning to make sure the playing surface would be safe for both teams, as rain was expected overnight.
However, due to the predicted forecast and the developments surrounding Storm Ciara and its new amber warning which could see winds of up to 70mph, The FA issued advice for the clubs to decide whether fixtures would go ahead.
After deliberation surrounding Larkhall’s trip up from Bath, and the consideration of some Cheltenham Town Ladies players travelling from Oxford and Swindon, it has been decided that safety of players, staff, supporters and match officials was the paramount concern and the game will now be rescheduled for later in the season.
Cheltenham Town Ladies will provide more information on the rescheduled fixture when it is possible to do so.
