Cheltenham Town Ladies FC was nominated by the FA WNL Management Committee for the FA WNL Club of the Year Award at last Fridays’ FA Women’s Football Awards which were held at St George’s Park.
The nomination was made to recognise the excellent work by all at Cheltenham Town LFC to not only raise the profile of the club but women and girls football in the area.
The information provided in support of the nomination was considered by an independent panel and whilst unfortunately the award went to another club [Coventry United] it is testament to the hard work and dedication of all concerned both on and off the pitch.
FA WNL chairman Carol West said: “Congratulations on being nominated and please keep up the good work.”
