First team manager Alex Cheal has named his 16-player squad for the trip to Ystrad Mynach to face Cardiff City LFC in the FA WNL Cup 2nd Round this Sunday.
Having beaten Luton Town away in the Qualifying round and gaining a bye in the first, the Ladies face a stiff challenge against Cardiff who play in the Southern Premier and have a number of Welsh international payers in their set up.
“We are facing a team who play a division above us so we know we must maintain our focus and commitment for the entire game. It will be an exciting match which we are looking forward to. We are not daunted by the task having acquitted ourselves well against similar higher-level opposition pre-season,” Alex says.
Kick off is 2pm at the CCB, Centre for Sporting Excellence, Caerphilly Road, Ystrad Mynach, CF82 7EP.
