Cheltenham Town Ladies Commit To Removing Single-Use Plastics

3rd July 2018

Cheltenham Town Ladies FC have announced their commitment to cutting plastic waste from home games at Petersfield Park ahead of the FA Women’s National League 2018/19 campaign.

The Ladies are hoping to improve their green credentials and be totally free of single-use plastic bottles and cups when the new campaign gets under way on August 19.

Club secretary Ian Purvis said: “As a football club, we understand that we play an important part in the local community while also having a responsibility to do our bit to help the environment for future generations.

“The impact that single use plastics is having on our planet cannot be ignored and we know that our fans will fully support this initiative.”
