Cheltenham Town Ladies’ Captain Jen Brown Wealls recalls the Club’s Cup Final success 12 months ago.

“Winning the Gloucestershire County Cup for the first time last season was a brilliant feeling, we had come up against a tough Forest Green side the year before so we knew how it felt to be runners up and we didn’t want that to happen again.

“I don’t think we planned to do it quite so dramatically, the game should have been dead and buried early on but we let them back into it and you never know in a one off game what can happen.

“But what better feeling than to win a penalty shoot out, it was fantastic. Perhaps mostly a huge wave of relief that we had won! We will be aiming to make this year’s a bit less dramatic!

“We would like to thank all our sponsors and supporters who will be making the trip to Almondsbury and hoping that we do them proud.”
