Cheltenham Town Ladies entertain Southampton Saints Girls & Ladies FC in Sunday’s FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round. This will be the third time the teams have played this season, having already played each other twice in the League.
Manager, Graham Fletcher is able to pick from a fully fit squad (barring long term injuries) with all the players excited for the challenge of the FA Cup and looking forward to making some progress in this season’s competition.
Captain, Jen Brown Wealls (pictured) commented: ‘This is a big game for the Club and the players know this is a great opportunity to make real progress in the FA Cup. We have played Southampton twice this season, both were very tight games, we want to reverse those defeats, and produce a performance that we know we are capable of. We have trained well this week, we know what’s expected of us, we all have to make that happen on the pitch. Sunday could be pivotal for the rest of the season.”
