FAWPL League Cup action is Cheltenham Town Ladies next fixture on Sunday, when they entertain FA WPL South Eastern Division Actonians.
Manager Graham Fletcher, said: ‘ This is an exciting game to be playing so early in the season. Actonians are a team we have never played before although we did get an offer from them to play a pre season friendly, but couldn’t make it happen. So Sunday will be another new challenge for the team. First team coach Chris Hicks and I have watched a video of them, they are unbeaten this season. They play some nice football, but so do we, and as usual I expect my team to work hard and give 100%. Lets see if we can get to the next round. It’s a week before our ‘home’ game at Whaddon Road, all of the squad want to be involved in that game, so there is a lot of competition for places, which is great.’
