Cheltenham Town Ladies Launch Partnership Opportunities Programme

11th May 2017

Cheltenham Town Ladies have launched their Partnership Programme for the FA WPL season 2017/18.

Announcing the programme for the coming season Chairman Andy Liddle said: “Although our season has just finished we have to plan ahead. Cheltenham Town Ladies FC needs the support of local companies, organisations and individuals to help raise the funds necessary to compete in the Women’s Premier League.

“As we enter our fourth term in the Women’s Premier League (the equivalent of being a League 2 side in the men’s game) we need to provide the right training environment and other resources to take us to the next level.”

CTLFC are the largest ladies club in the South West with over 150 players. In addition to fielding two adult sides, they have girl’s teams from under 8 to under 16 and are 2016/17 County Champions.

Liddle added: “Our audience and your promotional ‘reach’ is now considerable given our social media and PR efforts. We enjoy phenomenal coverage in the Gloucestershire Echo, CTFC match day programmes and a growing number of women’s football publications

“The team is well supported home and away, and we produce our own, high quality match day programme, produced by Finnick Creative and Typecraft,  which is probably the best in the women’s game today.”

Significantly, next season will see Cheltenham Ladies play at Whaddon Road for at least two home games as a result of the excellent relationship it enjoys with CTFC.

The board, management and coaching staff provide their time freely, for a genuine love of the game, while players pay to play. All funds raised will go directly into improving conditions for the players. This includes; kit, access to the best training facilities, transport, physios and ground hire etc.

CTLFC is looking for sponsors to build a strong partnership with and to help both parties become more successful. For more information please contact:
