Cheltenham Town Women will be looking to kickstart their Adobe Women’s FA Cup campaign when they welcome Yeovil Town to Kayte Lane in the First Round on Sunday (2pm kick-off).
Tom Davies’ side will be looking for a positive turn in form after their 3-0 defeat to Lewes last weekend. A brace from Poppy Derhun and a second half goal from Olivia Carpenter sealed all three points for the Rooks at the Dripping Pan.
They enter the FA Cup at the First Round Proper stage along with all Tier 3 clubs, after last season’s successful run to the Third Round, when they lost 4-0 to then Women’s Championship side Reading. The Robinesses got to that stage for only the third time in their history, after doing so in the 2008/09 and 2020/21 seasons.
Yeovil Town are the visitors to Kayte Lane on Sunday, after a fantastic win on penalties over WNL Division One South West side Southampton in the last round. The Glovers play their football in the South West Regional Women’s Division One South (Tier 6).
After the First Round match in the Women’s FA Cup, they return to league action to face Ipswich Town on Sunday November 10, and then travel to Home Park to face Plymouth Argyle a week later.
If the Robinesses get past Yeovil on Sunday, a Second Round tie will be pencilled in for Sunday November 24, before their trip to Stockport County a week later in the FA Women’s National League Plate Quarter-Finals.
Tickets are £6 for adults, and £1 for Under 18s, and can be purchased here or on the gate.
Information on travel to Kayte Lane (GL52 3PD) can be found here.
For supporters unable to attend, live-action updates will be provided on the Club’s X Account (formerly Twitter) as well as on Instagram.
