2024/25 Pre-Season Fixtures Announced

5th July 2024

Cheltenham Town Women FC have finalised their pre-season preparations ahead of their third season in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier.

The Robinesses will contest seven friendly fixtures, with four of these to be played behind closed doors. This is due to the venue and facility amendments and supporter management and safety.

On July 21 they will make the trip to fellow Tier Three outfit West Bromwich Albion Women, who secured a ninth placed finish in the FA WNL Premier North last season.

July 28 will see Cheltenham replay a familiar face in recent FA WNL Southern Premier champions, Portsmouth Women on a game set to take place behind closed doors. Leicester City U21’s will be opponents on August 1, another fixture set to take place behind closed doors.

Wolves Women will be welcomed to Cheltenham on August 4, after a successful campaign which saw them finish 2023/24 in fifth place in the FA WNL Northern Premier division and reach the Fifth Round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup before bowing out against Brighton and Hove Albion Women of the Women’s Superleague.

Pre-season preparations will conclude on August 11, with Cheltenham making a trip to Sporting Khalsa Women, who were recently crowned champions of FA WNL Division One Midlands. The Robinesses will return to competitive football in the FA WNL Southern Premier on August 18.
