4th May 2024

Cheltenham Town Ladies will look to end the 2023/24 Women’s National League Southern Premier season on a high as they welcome Hashtag United to Kayte Lane on Sunday (2pm kickoff).

The Robinesses play their final game of the season against runners-up and Women’s National League Cup winners Hashtag United, as they close out what has been a successful campaign for their first season at the Third Tier.

Tom Davies’ side come off an impressive showing against the champions Portsmouth a fortnight ago, leading twice but ultimately losing 3-2. Henna Butcher gave Cheltenham the lead however a hat trick from Ella Humphrey gave the champions all three points as they prepare for life in the Women’s Championship next term.

Hashtag United are coming off a 1-0 win over Chatham Town, and are still riding high after beating Newcastle United 2-1 back in March to claim the FA WNL Cup. Back in December, in arguably one of the best wins of the season, Davies’ side came out 1-0 winners when they made the trip to Essex, Una Lue getting the only goal late on in the second half.

Cheltenham will be looking to end on a high, and will look to consolidate seventh place which will be their best at this level, after reaching eighth last term. They can confirm that with as little as a point depending on Cardiff’s result at home to Oxford.

Tickets are £6 for adults, and £3 for concessions, and will be played at Kayte Lane (GL52 3PD). Tickets can be bought on the gate.
