Cheltenham will be looking to bounce back from defeat as they take on Billericay Town at Kayte Lane on Sunday (2pm kickoff).
After gaining their first three points of 2024 two weeks ago, in a 6-3 win against London Bees, The Robinesses were narrowly beaten by Oxford United, 2-1.
Zoe Barrett opened the scoring for the Yellows, which was quickly cancelled out by Phoebie Poole, who got her 12th goal of the season. Oxford took the lead once again when she dispatched a penalty.
This weekend they return to Kayte Lane for the first time in six weeks, and take on Billericay Town, who currently sit a point below the Robinesses in ninth place.
In the reverse fixture back in October, Poole got the only goal of the game as Tom Davies’ side came out 1-0 winners.
Billericay are winless since February 21st, where they thrashed Chatham Town, 5-1. Defeats since then have come at the hands of Rugby Borough and Hashtag United, losing 4-2 and 2-0 respectively.
After this weekend’s game, there is only three matches left of the Women’s National League Southern Premier season, as next week they make the trip to Chatham Town, and lastly have home games in April and May, against Portsmouth and Hashtag United.
Tickets are £6 for adults, and £3 for concessions, and the fixture will be played at Kayte Lane (GL52 3PD). For more information regarding travel to the stadium, click here.
For supporters unable to attend, live-action updates will be provided on the Club’s X Account (formerly Twitter) as well as Instagram.
