Cheltenham Town Ladies look to continue their winning home start to the season, as they welcome London Bees to Kayte Lane in the Women’s National League Southern Premier tomorrow (2:00pm kick-off).
The Robinesses started life at Kayte Lane successfully last week, with a 3-0 triumph over Maidenhead United Women in the Determining Round of the WNL Cup.
First half goals from Phoebie Poole and captain Emily Owen, along with an own goal at the end of the half, saw the Robinesses progress.
London Bees were also victorious in the cup last time out as they beat London Seaward 3-1. Like Tom Davies’ side they started the FA WNL season with a defeat, losing 3-0 away to Rugby Borough.
Davies’ side will be looking to kickstart their league form, after the 5-0 opening day defeat by Portsmouth a fortnight ago.
It was a win apiece between the Robinesses and the Bees last term, with Davies’ side winning 4-2 away in October 2022, whilst back in March the latter beat Cheltenham 1-0 at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium.
Tickets are £6 for adults, and £3 for concessions, in what will be the Club’s first league fixture at their new home, Kayte Lane (GL52 3PD). For more information regarding travel to the stadium, click here.
For supporters unable to attend, live-action updates will be provided on the Club’s official X account (formerly Twitter), as well as Instagram.
