Taylor joins the Robinesses after stints at Cardiff Metropolitan University FC and Man City.
The 19-year-old started her footballing career Port Talbot Ladies, before moving on to Cardiff Met and playing for Man City’s development side.
Taylor has represented her country at U17 and U19 level as recently as last month, playing 90 minutes against Iceland U19 Women in an international friendly.
The Welsh youngster is excited to get started for Cheltenham.
“I want to play in a women’s league. I think tier three is the best league to be in for my development. I’m still young and playing in a team with a lot of good players will push me to achieve more,” Taylor said.
Taylor met with Robinesses’ manager Tom Davies on Zoom and was excited by what he had to say.
“I had a Zoom call with Tom; he just talked to me about the intensity the girls bring. He said every player that comes in boosts the team and gets the morale going so that’s what I’m hoping to do.”
The former Man City player was also impressed with how her new teammates took her in.
“The squad’s really friendly. As soon as I came in, they all spoke to me and they were just really nice girls. The intensity is great too which I love.”
Taylor says she loves getting into a game, and that if it’s not going the right way, she can really bring up the team.
“I’m fast and I’m aggressive, that’s for sure. I always make my presence known for 90 minutes.
Outside of football, Taylor has two jobs, working in a local restaurant and also at a kennels.
“I keep myself busy!”
Cheltenham have played 15 of their 22 league fixtures, and sit 6th in the National League Southern Premier Division league table.
They play their first league match-up against Gillingham WFC at the Maidstone Road Sports Ground on Sunday (2:30pm).
