Cheltenham Town Ladies have signed their second target of the off-season, the versatile Georgie Gresham (pictured, in red).
A former England Colleges XI captain, who can play in the centre of defence or in midfield, Gresham is The Robinesses’ second summer signing, following the announcement of Holly Finch earlier today. Gresham also has experience at the women’s pyramid’s fourth tier, as she joins from Exeter City Women.
Talking to Gloucestershire Live’s Jon Palmer, she explained that she’s no stranger to what Cheltenham bring to the FA WNL table.
“I’ve played Cheltenham multiple times and they were always a tough team to play against,” she said.
“Once I had moved to Gloucester, I met some of their current players and they really sold the club to me and what they’re about, which I was very impressed by.
“I am now hoping to be part of a team that wants to strive to be their best as a collective.”
Cheltenham start their pre-season campaign on the road this weekend, travelling to West Brom Women.
