4th November 2020
Cheltenham Town Ladies will sit out competitive football for the month of November due to the introduction of a new national lockdown.
With a dramatic rise in the number of Covid-19 cases in Britain, the FA, following consultation with the Government as a result of their announcement at the weekend, have declared a postponement to all ‘non-elite’ football in England, which sees all football below the Vanarama National Leagues in the men’s game and all football below The FA Women’s Championship press pause on their respective campaigns.
This will see Cheltenham’s home games against Exeter (Nov 8) and Southampton FC (Dec 6), as well as trips to Southampton Women (Nov 29) and Buckland Athletic (Dec 13) will be listed as P-P, with new dates set to be decided mid-November.
Fans are encouraged to keep an eye on the club’s social media pages or ctlfc.com for further updates.
