Cheltenham Town Ladies have confirmed the signing of strong winger, Billie Haynes from Wolves Women ahead of 2020/21
Haynes, who has been an almost permanent fixture in the squad for Wolves, links up with Tom Davies, who was a coach at Haynes’ former club before he joined The Robinesses ahead of the 2019/20 season.
“When Tom approached me to see what my plans for the new season were, I came down for a couple of training sessions and really enjoyed it,” Haynes told Jon Palmer of Gloucestershire Live.
“The set-up is great, the girls welcomed me straight in and I felt like I could play to my highest level in the environment. Tom and I spoke and it was a no-brainer really.
“My aim for this season is to help the team push to win the league and get promotion.”
Haynes spent three seasons at Wolves Women, making 61 appearances, scoring 21 goals.
