Cheltenham Town Ladies have signed Republic of Ireland youth international full-back Harriet Lambe (right, wearing number 2) from Yeovil Town Women.
The new signing will replace Amy Leask, who has left the Robinesses to join FA Women’s National League rivals Swindon Town Women.
Manager Alex Cheal, talking to Gloucestershire Live’s Jon Palmer, commented “Harriet is based in Bristol and she trained with us in the summer, but decided to pursue a career at Yeovil, who are a professional club.
“I’m now delighted to welcome her to Cheltenham. We have been aware of her ability for some time and feel fortunate to add her to an already talented squad.
“For her now it’s a case of regular game time and getting back into playing at this level.”
“Her signing comes at a time when we lose Amy Leask to Swindon.
Amy wanted to play more so we agreed it was a good chance for her to continue playing at the level with a good club.
“She has been a great servant to our club and I thank her for her efforts this season.”
Lambe is also expected to be included in the squad for CTLFC’s friendly game against Oxford City this sunday (Marsh Lane, 1pm)
