Kerry Bartlett Joins Cheltenham Town Ladies

Cheltenham Town Ladies have today, confirmed the signing of Keynsham Town striker, Kerry Bartlett.

Kerry won the FA Women’s National League Division 1 South West comfortably last season with Keynsham last season by 7 points, scoring 63 goals in the process.

She was awarded the 2018/19 golden boot and was also named SSE Women’s FA Cup Player of the Round after putting four goals past C&K Basildon from the Women’s National League Southern Premier.

In 2017/18 Kerry finished with 45 goals and in two years is their official all-time leading goalscorer.

In an interview with Jon Palmer, she stated her delight at signing for Cheltenham, believing the club to have real ambition, and hopes her influence will help the team.

“My aim is to do everything I can to help take the club to the next level.”
she told Jon Palmer, “It’s a young squad and I hope that my experience will help them.”

Manager, Alex Cheal is delighted at the signing. “We are delighted to welcome Kerry on board,” Cheal said. “She is a  proven player at this level and comes with a wealth of experience.

“Her attitude towards football is unbelievable and following a conversation with her we knew it was an instant fit.”

Cheltenham take on Cardiff City Women (away) on Sunday, before returning to the DN Fire Stadium to face Briton Ferry in their final pre-season on the 11th.
They kick off the 2019/20 campaign at home to Poole Town Ladies on August 18th.
