Sammy Hallsworth and Sarah King have joined Cheltenham Town Ladies ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
Winger, King (pictured), joins us from Swindon Town Regional Talent Centre at just 16. She has been a regular name during pre-season, including producing a standout performance against in the 1-0 win over Wolves Women, having joined the club through the open trials held at the end of June.
Most suited to the right wing, she’s also featured both as a right-fullback, linking well with Sally Butterfield, or most recently at left-back, providing an extra attacking option from the defence.
Defeder, Sammy Hallsworth, joins from Watford FC Women and will be a real asset to the team this season with her experience from the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier last season and England Colleges. Sammy also has experience of playing for Cheltenham’s local rivals, Forest Green Rovers Ladies and Swindon Town Women.
