Reserves Lose Out To Kingfisher FC In Friendly

21st August 2018

Cheltenham Town Ladies Reserves 1-2 Kingfisher FC

Cheltenham Town Ladies Reserves started the game with confidence, playing the ball around well, getting forward in numbers and took the lead after 20 minutes from a well taken strike from Holly Kay.

Kingfisher FC  rallied and responded by getting a goal back only a few minutes later. The second half was an evenly contested game, chances falling to both teams however Kingfisher had the best of these, testing stand in keepers Emma Levett and Emily Skipp several times, hitting the bar and eventually finding a winner 15 minutes from time.

Player of the match was awarded to Louise Bull (pictured) following a fantastic performance at right back.
