We are delighted to announce that Darren Johnson (pictured left) has accepted the position as Match Day Services Manager. This is the first such appointment by the Club and we are grateful to Darren (and daughter Evie) for their fantastic work in promoting the Club to a new audience to date.
Darren, already a Ladies’ committee member, was keen to be more hands on so we have created this position to make the most of his excellent interpersonal skills and experience as a regular supporter.
The role will be customer facing and focus heavily on fan engagement. Match day mascots, photography, social media activity and supporter liaison will come under his jurisdiction on first team home match days. The choice of music is down to him too.
