Ladies to Wear Cheltenham Town FC New Home Kit Next Season

20th July 2018

Next season the Ladies will be proudly wearing the official Cheltenham Town strip for home matches as part of the close relationship between the two Clubs.

Here is the official statement from Cheltenham Town FC:

Cheltenham Town is delighted to announce that Cheltenham Town Ladies will also wear the club’s new home kit this season – with the big reveal all set for Saturday.

The new retro kit – produced by our Official Kit Provider and leading Italian sportswear manufacturer Errea – will been unveiled on Saturday ahead of the club’s pre-season game with Birmingham City.

And the club is now pleased to officially confirm that Cheltenham Town Ladies will also be wearing the same kit this campaign as part of the increasingly close relationship between the two clubs.

Players from Cheltenham Town Ladies – both seniors and juniors – have also taken part in photoshoots ahead of the big kit launch – where they will stand side-by-side with senior and Academy players from the Robins under the #OurTown banner.

Members of the Cheltenham Town Ladies will also join players from the Robins behind the till in the Club Shop on Saturday afternoon as the new kit goes on sale.

Clive Gowing, Director at Cheltenham Town, said: “It’s fantastic news that Cheltenham Town and Cheltenham Town Ladies will both be wearing the same kit this season to underline the growing relationship between both clubs.

“We thank them for all their help and assistance with the kit launch and look forward to seeing them have a successful season.”

Ian Purvis, Director at Cheltenham Town Ladies FC added: “’This is the first time in our near 30-year history that we will wear identical kit to the men’s team. We have been overwhelmed by the level of support shown to us by Cheltenham Town and their fans and would like to thank them all. Everyone can be assured that we will wear the shirt with the utmost pride.”

Season Ticket holders are reminded that they gain free entry for Cheltenham Town Ladies games at the DN Fire Stadium. They are next in action on Wednesday when they face Cardiff Met on home soil.
