Cheltenham Town Ladies announced their season 2016/17 Supporters of the Year at the final home match of the season last Sunday.
This season there were three winners – fans who had regularly followed the ladies home and away – Steve Hitchcox (below left)and Dom Lyes (right) are shown receiving their presentations from first team manager Graham Fletcher. The third winner Steve Broadbridge wasn’t able to make this game – a rare occurrence.
On behalf of the club, manager Graham Fletcher said: ” We would like to thank all our fans, not just those who come along to Petersfield Park but also those who follow us online and through the press. Although we have a relatively small catchment area we had the fifth highest average home gate this season in our division and currently have over 2,400 followers on Twitter. Our players really value this support and look forward to seeing them next season.”
