“We gave them a real run for their money in the corresponding fixture last year, even though for part of the game we were down to 10 players. Chichester will no doubt be pressing for promotion again but we have a stronger squad with a great team spirit and we are eager to get the season going,” the Manager said.

Chairman Andy Liddle is delighted with the closed season. “Graham has been busy making many new signings, most notably the promotion of Sarah Haden to first team coach. Haden managed last season’s promotion winning development side and will be instrumental in delivering coaching sessions at Women’s Premier League standard. We have secured Petersfield Park as our home again this season, and Typecraft will be printing the programmes. Ian Purvis has joined as Vice Chair to help with everything that goes on in the background in running both a Women’s Premier League and Women’s South West Football leagues side. With Forest Green Rovers Ladies playing lower league football this season, we are the top club in the County. This has taken six years to achieve, and we are now looking to kick on”
