The Robinesses are set to face National League Southern Division side Crawley Wasps.
Cheltenham made the journey to The Camping World Community Stadium already this season for a close-fought league game, where Henna Butcher’s 50th minute goal was the difference.
Crawley come into the tie with a win and a loss since Christmas: the loss to Cheltenham’s upcoming opponents Billericay Town, and the win to FA WNL Division One South East team Worthing FC Women.
The Gloucestershire side are yet to play a competitive match this calendar year, but have been undefeated in friendlies.
Crawley Wasps find themselves at the bottom of the table in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division, with three points overall and no wins.
Cheltenham Town sit sixth in the table on 13 points and less games than the teams surrounding them.
The Plate is the last cup Tom Davies’ outfit are still competing in, and the Cheltenham Town manager will be looking to secure a place in the semi-final where they could face either the teams from Southampton Women’s to Leeds United.
Cheltenham’s last visit to Crawley Wasps brought about a tough challenge for the Robinesses. Billie Haynes and Izzy Cook combined to hit the woodwork three times before Butcher slid to connect with a through-ball and poked home the only goal of the game.
Crawley Wasps v Cheltenham Town Ladies takes place at The Camping World Community Stadium (postcode: RH13 0AD) at 2:30PM on Sunday, 22nd January.
