Cheltenham Town Ladies have seen a slight shuffle of their remaining fixtures, following a weekend of cancelled fixtures due to the weather.
The Robins’ First Team and Development Team were both poised to take the field in the Gloucestershire FA County Trophy, against Bristol Ladies Union and Chipping Sodbury Ladies respectively.
However with the arrival of storm Eunice, the adverse weather left both playing surfaces under water, adding an extra week onto the season for both sides. The County Trophy games will now take place this coming Sunday (February 27).
The reshuffle sees the First Team’s home tie with Chesham United Ladies moved back to April 17, and will now act as the season closer for Tom Davies’ side. The trip to Portishead on Wednesday (February 23) is unaffected.
Simon Galpin’s Development Team will also see their season extended by a week, as their fixture with Weston Mendip has been rescheduled for April 3.
The Southampton Women’s fixture, postponed an hour before kick-off on February 13, has yet to be given a date.
