Cheltenham Town Ladies FC Take Part In Successful Robin’s Trust Open Day

17th July 2017

Players and staff from Cheltenham Town LFC and CTLFC Youth were delighted to take part in the Robin’s Trust Open Day at Seasons training ground on Sunday 16 July.

The Open Day is held by the Trust each year and on this occasion formed part of the launch of the new CTFC away strip. It was the first time the Ladies have been invited. While the men’s squad were put through their paces by Gary Johnson, Cheltenham Town Ladies were doing the same under the guidance of manager Graham Fletcher and head coach Chris Hicks.

Speaking immediately after the Open Day Graham Fletcher said: “It was great to be invited and particularly a nice gesture from Gary Johnson to allow us to train on the 1st team pitch. We received some really nice comments from the watching supporters.

“Our session was really good and the shooting and penalty session at the end was well received by the fans. Four of my players were delighted to be asked to sign a young fans shirt. So another good PR exercise for the Club, and a big thanks to Murry Toms of the Robin’s Trust for making it happen.”
