Cheltenham Ladies FC Support Poppy Appeal

3rd November 2016

Cheltenham Town Ladies are to support this year’s Poppy Appeal by donating all their Remembrance Sunday match proceeds to the local Royal British Legion.

Both the ladies’ first team and development squad are playing home games at Petersfield Park on November 13 and all gate receipts, shop takings and collections will be given to the charity.

Cheltenham Town, who are sponsored by Origin3, Ei and Financial Fitness, are producing a special match day programme design and printed by local firms Finnick Creative and Typecraft.

Manager Graham Fletcher said: “We wanted to pay our respects to those who risked and life and limb to preserve our freedom and we are proud to help the Royal British Legion in their fundraising.”

The Development Squad play Devon-based Activate LFC in the Bristol SoccerWorld Cup with a kick off at 11am before the visit of Maidenhead United LFC in a FA Women’s Premier League clash for the first team at 2pm.

Match entry is £2 with children under 16 free.

Match sponsorship and match ball sponsorship opportunities are available with all fees going to the charity. For details contact Graham Fletcher gftivoli22@gmail.com.
